Mais de 1.500 protestam em Brasília pela votação da Redução da Jornada
Aproveitando o início das atividades no Congresso Nacional e para mostrar aos parlamentares e ao governo federal que a classe trabalhadora não está “dormindo no ponto”, as seis centrais sindicais (CTB, CUT, FS, UGT, NCST e CGTB) realizaram na manhã desta terça-feira (2) em Brasília uma manifestação unificada pela Redução da Jornada de Trabalho sem Redução de Salários. A decisão foi tomada durante a última reunião do Fórum das Centrais Sindicais (composto pelas seis centrais), ocorrida no ultimo dia 21/01.
Mais de 1.500 sindicalistas se reuniram a partir das 11h, no hall de entrada do salão verde da Câmara dos Deputados para aproveitar a reabertura dos trabalhos no Congresso Nacional para pressionar os parlamentares a votar, o quanto antes, a Proposta de Emenda Constitucional dos senadores Paulo Paim e Inácio Arruda que reduz a jornada de trabalho a 40 horas semanais.
A proposta já recebeu parecer favorável de uma Comissão Especial constituída na Câmera Federal para debater o tema. Trata-se de uma bandeira histórica da classe trabalhadora, que tem uma importância estratégica para o movimento sindical e foi levantada como prioridade da CTB desde o congresso de fundação, em dezembro de 2007.
PEC em pauta
Segundo Pascoal Carneiro, secretário geral da CTB, a partir das 15h, os representantes das centrais sindicais se reunirão Michel Temer, presidente da Câmara dos Deputados, para debater a inclusão da PEC 231/95 na pauta de projetos que serão votados no plenário. A proposta trata da redução da jornada semanal de trabalho para 40 horas. A reunião será na sala da presidência.
Os sindicalistas também vão se reunir com líderes das bancadas nos gabinetes das lideranças a partir das 15h30 até o final da tarde desta terça-feira.
