UNE entra com sexto pedido de impeachment de Paulo Octávio

A União Nacional dos Estudantes (UNE) protocolou hoje (19), na Câmara Legislativa do Distrito Federal, o sexto pedido de impeachment do governador em exercício, Paulo Octávio (DEM).

A Comissão de Constituição e Justiça (CCJ) da Câmara acatou ontem (18) três pedidos de impeachment de Paulo Octávio, dando início ao andamento do processo na Casa. O pedido do PSB foi rejeitado pela Procuradoria da Câmara por não apresentar comprovante de eleitor, uma das exigências da legislação.
O PCdoB apresentou ontem um pedido, que passará pela avaliação dos procuradores da Câmara, assim como o da União Nacional dos Estudantes (UNE).

Para segunda-feira (22), está marcada a escolha do presidente e do relator da comissão especial que vai analisar os pedidos de impeachment de Paulo Octávio e do governador licenciado, José Roberto Arruda (sem partido). Arruda está preso há mais de uma semana na Superintendência da Polícia Federal em Brasília, por tentativa de suborno de uma testemunha do suposto esquema de corrupção no governo distrital.

Paulo Octávio anunciou ontem que continuará no cargo por mais algum tempo, contrariando a expectativa de que iria renunciar. Ele assumiu o governo do Distrito Federal depois da prisão de Arruda. Paulo Octávio é citado pelo ex-secretário de Relações Institucionais Durval Barbosa como um dos beneficiários do suposto esquema de pagamento de propina a empresários e deputados distritais em troca de apoio ao governo.
