CMS define datas para atividades do primeiro semestre

A Coordenação dos Movimentos Sociais (CMS) se reuniu nesta sexta-feira (26), na cidade de São Paulo, para definir um calendário de atividades para o primeiro semestre de 2010, com vistas à Assembleia Nacional dos Movimentos Sociais, a ser realizada em 31 de maio.

Participaram da reunião representantes de diversas entidades da CMS. Pela CTB, esteve presente seu secretário de Políticas Sociais, Carlos Rogério Nunes.

A reunião definiu que as plenárias estaduais, prévias ao encontro nacional de 31 de maio, deverão ocorrer entre os dias 1º de março e 18 de abril. Em seguida, no dia 24 de abril, será realizado um encontro para finalizar as discussões sobre a Assembleia Nacional, com entidades de todos os estados, em cidade ainda indefinida.

O encontro desta sexta-feira definiu também que o grupo de trabalho da CMS para a Assembleia Nacional será composto pela CTB, CUT, CGTB, UNE, Marcha Mundial de Mulheres, Unegro, MST e CMP.

Data histórica

A Assembleia Nacional dos Movimentos Sociais acontecerá um dia antes da Conferência Nacional da Classe Trabalhadora, a Conclat, convocada no começo de 2010 pelas seis centrais sindicais brasileiras.

A expectativa da Conclat é a de reunir ao menos dez mil lideranças sindicais de todo o Brasil na capital paulista.
