Reunião da CMS constrói agenda de ações para o primeiro semestre
A direção operativa da CMS (Coordenação dos Movimentos Sociais) realizou nesta sexta-feira (26) uma reunião para definir as ações do primeiro semestre e dar continuidade aos encaminhamentos tirados no Fórum Social Mundial, entre eles, a realização da Assembléia Nacional dos Movimentos Sociais marcada para o dia 31 de maio, em São Paulo.
Para o dirigente representante da CUT na CMS, Antonio Carlos Spis, “a Assembleia Nacional será um importante espaço de ampliação e fortalecimento dos debates e da pauta democrática”.
Durante o FSM, em Porto Alegre e em Salvador, as entidades elaboraram e aprovaram um documento intitulado Carta dos Movimentos Sociais que servirá de base para a Assembléia Nacional dos Movimentos de 31 de maio. O documento reafirma o compromisso com a luta por justiça social, soberania, pela integração solidária da América Latina e de todos os povos do mundo, pelo fortalecimento do multilateralismo, contra o Imperialismo e contra todas as formas de opressão. Ficou decidido no encontro de hoje que pontos importantes como as questões polêmicas do III Plano de Direitos Humanos, trabalho infantil, entre outros temas serão inseridos em um novo documento a ser produzido e que será colocado em pauta para discussão e aprovação em Plenárias Estaduais da CMS, que deverão ser convocadas até o dia 18 de abril.
O calendário de 2010 conta também com a realização da 8ª Plenária Nacional da CMS no dia 24 de abril, em local a ser definido, com o objetivo discutir e organizar a atividade de 31 de maio. Além disso, o encontro deverá sistematizar as propostas e proposições tiradas nos encontros estaduais.
Para a organização da Assembleia Nacional foi composto um GT de estrutura com as três centrais componentes da CMS (CUT, CTB, CGTB), UNE, UNEGRO, CMP, MST, Marcha das Mulheres.
