Lupi diz que emprego pode crescer acima da previsão em 2010
O ministro do Trabalho, Carlos Lupi, disse hoje (30) que vai rever para cima a previsão anterior de geração de 2 milhões de empregos em 2010. Para ele, este será o melhor ano da história: “Vamos viver o melhor ano, vão ser 2,5 milhões de empregos gerados. Isso significa que, enquanto o mundo todo ainda está com dificuldade de sair da crise, o Brasil está gerando emprego”. Segundo dados do ministério, no primeiro trimestre de 2010 foram gerados 657.259 empregos, número que representa 30% da meta original do governo.
Na avaliação de Lupi, o aumento do nível de emprego ajudaria a sustentar o reajuste para os aposentados, que está sendo negociado no Congresso. “ Nós já tivemos os três melhores meses de arrecadação da Previdência Social por conta do aumento do emprego”, destacou. O ministro disse ainda que o aumento do valor das aposentadorias poderia aquecer ainda mais a economia e, por consequência, novos postos de trabalho continuariam sendo abertos. “Quando não só os trabalhadores na ativa, mas aposentados e pensionistas podem ter ganho real [nos vencimentos], ajuda o mercado de trabalho”.
Lupi falou após o lançamento da cartilha Gêneros Diferentes, Direitos Iguais, no Sindicato das Costureiras de São Paulo e Osasco. O material traz uma série de informações sobre temas como assédio sexual, Lei Maria da Penha e trabalho doméstico. A publicação será disponibilizada na página do ministério na internet e nas Superintendências Regionais do Trabalho e Emprego (SRTEs).
