CUT defende sanção presidencial ao reajuste de 7,7% e ao fim do fator previdenciário

A Executiva Nacional da CUT reitera ao presidente Lula que sancione o reajuste de 7,7% para as aposentadorias acima do salário mínimo e também o fim do fator previdenciário. O reajuste vai beneficiar mais de oito milhões de brasileiros e brasileiras e funcionar como mais um fator de incremento da renda. O fim do fator corrige uma série de injustiças iniciadas em 1999, durante o governo FHC.
Deixamos claro, igualmente, que somos contrários à proposta de idade mínima, mencionada por alguns parlamentares como alternativa ao fator previdenciário. A idade mínima penalizaria quem começa a trabalhar bastante jovem.

O atual debate em torno das aposentadorias acima do mínimo poderia ter tido um resultado mais amplo e profundo, indo além do reajuste do período e criando uma política de valorização permanente das aposentadorias e pensões, a exemplo da que conquistamos para o salário mínimo – que atende 18,3 milhões de aposentados, ou 69%  do total, além de outros 25 milhões de brasileiros que dele dependem direta ou indiretamente. Infelizmente, essa discussão estacionou no Congresso, desde o ano passado.

Queremos uma mesa de negociação permanente, com a participação de governo e entidades representativas dos aposentados, para construção de uma política de valorização não só das aposentadorias, mas das condições de vida dos idosos.

Não deixaremos de apresentar propostas e pressionar pela criação dessas políticas.
