Estado brasileiro reconhece a responsabilidade por destruir a sede da UNE em 1964

A Presidência da República publicou nesta terça (22) no Diário Oficial da União (DOU) a lei que reconhece a responsabilidade do Estado brasileiro pela destruição da sede da União Nacional dos Estudantes (UNE) em 1964.

De acordo com a lei, será criada uma comissão para definir o valor e a forma da indenização, que não poderá ultrapassar o limite de seis vezes o valor de mercado do terreno onde ficava a sede da UNE, na Praia do Flamengo, no Rio de Janeiro.

Segundo informações da Presidência da República, o prazo para a indicação dos membros da comissão é de dez dias, a contar de hoje. A comissão terá 30 dias, prorrogáveis por igual período, para estabelecer o valor e a forma da indenização.

O resultado dessa comissão, ainda segundo a Presidência, será submetido ao grupo de trabalho que será coordenado pelo Ministério da Justiça e pela Secretaria-Geral da Presidência da República. Este grupo também terá 30 dias para se manifestar após o recebimento do relatório final da comissão.

O grupo será composto por um representante dos ministérios da Justiça, Educação, Fazenda, Secretaria-Geral da Presidência da República, Secretaria Especial dos Direitos Humanos e do Planejamento. O grupo de trabalho também contará com um representante da Câmara dos Deputados e um do Senado.
