Eleições 2010: TREs barram 25% dos candidatos impugnados pela Ficha Limpa

O número de candidatos "ficha-suja" barrados até agora pela Justiça Eleitoral chega a 25% das candidaturas impugnadas pelas procuradorias regionais eleitorais, em decorrência da Lei da Ficha Limpa.

A porcentagem se refere a levantamento divulgado hoje pelo site Congresso em Foco, com base em dados repassados por 19 dos 27 Tribunais Regionais Eleitorais (TREs) do País.

Dos 544 candidatos que tiveram o registro de candidatura contestados, 136 foram vetados para as eleições deste ano.

Até o dia 19 de agosto, os oito tribunais eleitorais restantes irão divulgar o saldo de candidatos barrados pela nova lei, o que deve aumentar o total de impugnações confirmadas pela Justiça Eleitoral.

O maior número de candidatos barrados, de acordo com o levantamento, foi constatado no Ceará, que teve 25 impugnações da Procuradoria Eleitoral julgadas procedentes pela Justiça.

Em seguida, figuram os estados de Rondônia (24) e Minas Gerais (10).

Os candidatos barrados pelos TREs ainda podem recorrer ao Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE) e ao Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF).

Enquanto o recurso estiver em tramitação, os enquadrados pela Ficha Limpa podem concorrer nas eleições.
