Ipea: mais da metade dos brasileiros estão otimistas com economia do país

Mais da metade da população estão otimistas em relação à situação econômica do país. A constatação é do Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada (Ipea), que calculou o Índice de Expectativa das Famílias, apresentado hoje (31), no Rio de Janeiro.

A pesquisa mostra que mais de 58% da população acreditam que o Brasil passará por melhores momentos nos próximos 12 meses. Mais de 55% acreditam que o cenário otimista também se repetirá nos próximos cinco anos.

A confiança é maior entre as pessoas com melhores rendimentos e os mais jovens, e entre os entrevistados que se declararam negros, os que têm nível de escolaridade superior incompleto, e os que recebem benefícios do governo. As maiores proporções de otimistas foram constatadas nas regiões Centro-Oeste, Norte e Nordeste.

De acordo com o Ipea, o otimismo pode estar relacionado à melhoria da situação do orçamento das famílias, já que 73% dos entrevistados indicaram estar em melhores condições financeiras do que há um ano.

“Quatro entre cinco famílias revelaram que a situação financeira melhorou. Essa melhoria foi registrada com maior proporção na Região Centro-Oeste [81,75% dos entrevistados] e a Região Sul foi a que concentrou um menor número de famílias com melhorias no orçamento [67,39%]”, afirmou o presidente do Ipea, Marcio Pochmann.
