Rendimento médio do trabalhador registra valor recorde em agosto

O rendimento médio do trabalhador brasileiro alcançou um valor recorde de R$ 1.472,10 em agosto deste ano, o maior da série histórica iniciada em março de 2002. O valor é 1,4% superior aos R$ 1.451,91 registrados em julho deste ano e 5,5% maior do que os R$ 1.395,21 de agosto de 2009.

O dado consta na Pesquisa Mensal de Emprego (PME) divulgada hoje (23) pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE). “Esse aumento já ocorre pelo quarto ou quinto mês consecutivo”, afirmou o gerente da pesquisa, Cimar Azeredo.

Entre as seis regiões metropolitanas brasileiras pesquisadas, o maior crescimento entre julho e agosto foi registrado em Recife (4,4%). Já Belo Horizonte registrou estabilidade no valor dos rendimentos. Na comparação com agosto de 2009, Recife também registrou o maior aumento: 17,5%. São Paulo teve o menor crescimento (3,8%).

Entre os setores da economia, educação, saúde e administração pública registrou o maior valor do rendimento médio: R$ 2.078,10. Mas o maior crescimento entre julho e agosto foi percebido nos setores de serviços domésticos (2,4%) e comércio (2,3%). Na comparação com agosto de 2009, os maiores crescimentos foram observados na construção (9,3%) e nos serviços domésticos (9,1%).
