Presidente da Fiesp se filia ao PSB e deve sair candidato

O presidente da Fiesp, Paulo Skaf, acaba de assinar a ficha de filiação ao PSB, partido pelo qual pretende disputar o governo de São Paulo, informa Renata Lo Prete, editora do Painel da Folha. A sigla, que tem Ciro Gomes como pré-candidato à Presidência da República, já havia filiado ontem o vereador tucano Gabriel Chalita para concorrer ao Senado.

Antes de se acertar com o PSB, Paulo Skaf tentou PV, PMDB e PR. Mas, por diferentes razões, nenhuma dessas siglas lhe ofereceu a garantia da candidatura ao Palácio dos Bandeirantes.

Na semana passada, Skaf afirmou que a filiação não significava automaticamente que disputaria as eleições do próximo ano. "Se eu me filiar, não significa que eu vou me candidatar. Não existe candidatura em 2009. Acho importante que as pessoas se filiem para ter uma participação maior na vida do país. Em outros países, a filiação está na cultura", afirmou.

Em conversas com interlocutores, Skaf tem dito que pesa contra a sua filiação o fato de que ainda tem mais dois anos de mandato no comando da Fiesp e a possibilidade de concorrer à reeleição.
