CMS abre sua 7ª plenária debatendo pré-sal e desenvolvimento

A discussão sobre a questão do pré sal, o posicionamento no processo eleitoral em 2010 e conjuntura nacional, foram os temas que abriram a 7ª Plenária Nacional da CMS (Coordenação dos Movimentos Sociais), que acontece nesta sexta-feira (23), em São Paulo, com a presença de 102 delegados e delegadas dos Estados de São Paulo, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Pernambuco, Distrito Federal, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Ceará, Mato Grosso, Pará e Goiás.

A mesa de abertura com a participação de João Pedro Stédile (MST), Augusto Chagas (UNE), João Antônio de Moraes (FUP) e Carlos Pereira (CGTB),abordou também a importância da participação da população em todo o processo da 1ª Conferência nacional de Comunicação, chamada pelo governo para os dias 14 a 17 de dezembro.

Desenvolvimento
A preocupação com a questão do petróleo norteou as declarações. Para os presentes a garantia de destinação de recursos no pré-sal em investimentos para o desenvolvimento nacional e a reavaliação do formato dos leilões são prioridades nesse momento.

O encontro, deliberado pela Comissão Operativa Nacional da CMS, prosseguirá até às 17h, com o calendário de luta para o próximo período: Fórum Social Mundial 2010; Conferência Nacional de Comunicação; Conferência Nacional de Educação; luta pela redução da jornada de trabalho para 40 horas semanais; proliferação de bases militares estadunidenses e a prioritária discussão da continuidade do Projeto Brasil — elaborado em 2006, com o propósito de apontar as posições e intervenções da CMS sobre o atual momento político.
