Centrais denunciam ingerência do MPT no movimento sindical à OIT
Dirigentes das seis maiores centrais sindicais (CTB, CUT, Força Sindical, UGT, Nova Central e CGTB) estarão em Genebra segunda-feira (2-11) para denunciar ao diretor-geral da OIT (Organização Internacional do Trabalho), Juan Somavia, a interferência do MPT (Ministério Público do Trabalho) e da Justiça do Trabalho no movimento sindical.
“A conduta do MPT configura uma perseguição ao movimento sindical e merece nosso total repúdio”, asseverou o presidente da CTB (Central dos Trabalhadores e Trabalhadoras do Brasil), Wagner Gomes (foto). Os sindicatos estão sendo chamados a assinar termos de ajustamento de conduta em vários estados porque os procuradores do trabalho não consideram adequada a cobrança da taxa assistencial aos não sindicalizados. “Isto não faz o menor sentido, inclusive porque os não sócios também usufruem dos benefícios previstos nos acordos e convenções coletivas”, argumentou o presidente da CTB.
Criminalização
A interferência do MPT contradiz o princípio da autonomia sindical e também afronta as convenções 98 e 135 da OIT, que tratam de direito de sindicalização, negociação coletiva e representação do trabalhador. Tais ações, consideradas com propriedade pelos sindicalistas como práticas antissindicais, é condenada por todas as centrais sindicais e não pode deixar de ser associada à ofensiva da direita neoliberal para criminalizar os movimentos sociais.
Os sindicalistas também vão denunciar a violência contra líderes sindicais, que não raro se tornam vítimas de assassinos, e a tentativa de criminalizar os movimentos sociais. Por esta razão, as centrais também convidaram o MST (Movimento dos Sem Terra) e a Contag (Confederação Nacional dos Trabalhadores na Agricultura) para a reunião em Genebra com a OIT.
