Salários do Brasil sofrem menos com a crise, segundo relatório da OIT

O Brasil está entre os países do G20 que registraram menor perda salarial durante a crise financeira, segundo relatório divulgado na terça-feira (3) pela Organização Internacional do Trabalho (OIT).

Os dados indicam que o País registrou aumento médio real dos salários de 2,8% em 2008, acima de países como Canadá (2%), Austrália (1,1%) e Grã-Bretanha (0,5%).

Para o autor do estudo, Patrick Belser, o Brasil está, "certamente, entre os três países do grupo (G20) em que os salários mais cresceram".

O economista diz que as políticas governamentais de recuperação da economia tiveram impacto positivo no emprego e salários.

Entre elas, a OIT cita que o aumento do salário mínimo e a continuidade de investimentos em infraestrutura - questões colocadas no centro do combate à crise pelo movimento sindical brasileiro - "tiveram um impacto favorável na demanda por mão-de-obra".

Tendência
Segundo a OIT, o aumento dos salários médios no mundo caiu, passando de 4,3% em 2007 para 1,4% em 2008.

Os dados indicam que mais de 25% dos 53 países analisados registraram queda ou estagnação salarial.

As estatísticas também indicam que a situação dos salários no mundo continua a se deteriorar.
