Movimentos sociais fazem manifestação contra agressão e expulsão de aluna da Uniban
Movimentos sociais realizaram na noite de hoje (9) uma manifestação contra a agressão e expulsão da estudante Geisy Arruda da Universidade Bandeirante (Uniban), em frente ao campus da insituição em São Bernardo do Campo, no ABC paulista.
A aluna foi expulsa da faculdade após ser hostilizada pelos colegas que consideraram o vestido que trajava curto. Durante o protesto, a Uniban anunciou que decidiu rever a sanção imposta a estudante.
A notícia de que a universidade voltou atrás na decisão, no entanto, não interrompeu a manifestação. Falaram do carro de som os representantes da Marcha Mundial de Mulheres, da União Nacional dos Estudantes (UNE), da Associação Brasileira de Gays Lésbicas e Transexuais e da Central Única dos Trabalhadores.
“Na sociedade hoje, ninguém vê problema quando o corpo da mulher é usado como mercadoria, ninguém vê problema em aparecer bunda e peito para vender cerveja na televisão. Mas a mulher, quando quer usar a roupa que ela bem entende, não pode, é vítima de agressão e opressão”, afirmou a diretora de mulheres da UNE, Roberta Costa.
Os discursos feitos de cima do carro de som eram aplaudidos pelos manifestantes e vaiados por um grupo de alunos que acompanhava o ato.
Para a aluna de sistemas da informação, Graciana Silva, a estudante também é responsável pelas agressões e humilhações que sofreu. “Eu vi ela subindo a rampa e a bunda estava aparecendo”, contou. “Se você quer respeito, tem que se dar o respeito”, concluiu.
Na opinião de Geisy, o problema não era a sua roupa, mas a mentalidade dos alunos da universidade. Ela contou, em entrevista coletiva na tarde de hoje, que durante o trajeto até a instituição em nenhum momento houve qualquer insinuação das pessoas com quem cruzou pelo caminho.
Segundo ela, as agressões ocorreram somente na universidade . “Eles tentaram passar a mão em mim. Tentaram colocar o celular dentro do meu vestido”, disse.
A estudante garante que nunca havia sido advertida sobre sua forma de vestir pela coordenação da instituição.
